Ingredients to make Oven-roasted Potato wedges:

  • 4 units of Potato
  • 1 handful of fresh Basil
  • 1 handful of rosemary
  • 1 handful of Thymes
  • 1 handful of fresh oregano
  • 20 grams of vegetable margarine
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 unit of Lemon
  • 1 pinch of ground black pepper

How to make Oven Roasted Potato Wedges:

  1. We gather all the ingredients to make the oven-roasted potatoes in wedges.
  2. Wash the potatoes well so that no dirt remains on the skin.
  3.  We dry them and cut them into long segments, as indicated in the image.
  4. To get this shape into wedges, cut the potato along its longest part, first in half and then cut each half into other smaller halves, but always from the center.
  5. If you don’t have much time to prepare the baked potatoes, you can cook them for 3-4 minutes in boiling water with a little salt.
  6. After that time, drain them well.
  7. While you cook the potatoes, turn the oven on to 180ºC so that it heats up. Remember that this step is optional and you can do it if you don’t have time to fully cook in the oven.
  8. In a baking dish, put 3 tablespoons of melted vegetable margarine.
  9.  On the other hand, wash the aromatic herbs well and chop them with the help of a knife.
  10. Place the potatoes in the baking dish, put a little salt and ground black pepper, also add the aromatic herbs.
  11. Mix well so that they are impregnated with the herbs and the margarine.
  12. Before putting them in the oven, dress the potatoes with a little grated lemon peel and mix well again.
  13. Put the potatoes in the oven at 180ºC for 10-12 minutes until they are golden.
  14. If you have not previously cooked the potatoes in water, leave them in the oven for approximately 18-20 minutes.
  15. These ovens -roasted potatoes in wedges serve to accompany any meat or fish dish, such as grilled sea bream.
