Original Vegetarian Tripe Recipe

Ingredients to make Original Vegetarian Tripe:

  • green pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 1 jar of cooked chickpeas
  • thyme to taste
  • 1/2 liter of vegetable broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 level tablespoon of sweet paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of hot paprika
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon crushed tomato
  • 300 gr of seitan
  • 50 grams of olive oil
  • a pinch of salt

How to make Original Vegetarian Tripe:

  1. Chop the pepper, onion and garlic for 5 seconds at speed 4.
  2. Add the oil and fry for 10 minutes at Varoma temperature, turn to the left, spoon speed.
  3. Add the tomato, the cayenne, and the sweet and spicy paprika, being careful not to get too spicy or we won’t be able to finish the dish (or we’ll finish it but we’ll have an irritated colon all day). Mix 4 seconds at speed
  4. Add the seitan, the broth, a bay leaf, a little salt. Program 3 minutes, Varoma Temperature, spoon speed.
  5. Add the chickpeas and program 10 minutes, 100 degrees, turn to the left, spoon speed.
