Original Pozole Recipe

Ingredients to make Original Pozole:

  • 500 grams of pork
  • 500 grams of beef to shred
  • 500 grams of chicken breast
  • 7 units of wide chili or color
  • 2 sachets of Garlic
  • 2 units of Onion
  • 1 unit of Tomato
  • 1 handful of coriander
  • 1 cup of hominy corn
  • To decorate
  • 1 handful of lettuce in julienne
  • 1 handful of roasted radishes

How to make Original Pozole:

  • The 3 meats are cooked together with an onion and a head of garlic.
  • Once they are cooked, they are removed and shredded.
  • Separately, the peppers are already cleaned without seeds and the tomato are cooked.
  • Then the tomato, onion, garlic, cilantro and chilies are blended.
  • This sauce is added to the broth in which the meats were cooked, it is left to season and salt is added to taste.
  • Then the meats and the hominy corn are added.
  • Let it season for a few more minutes until the broth takes color.
  • It is served in deep dishes, garnished with lettuce, radishes and toast.
