- 100 milliliters of warm milk
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
How to make Oreo Deviled Easter Eggs:
- Begin the Oreo Deviled Easter Eggs recipe by preparing the filling.
- To do this, you must separate the cream from the Oreo cookies and reserve the cream for later. If you can’t find an Oreo cookie, you can use any chocolate cookie.
- Crush Oreo cookies into a fine powder. You can use a food processor, blender, or do it manually. Don’t worry if there are large bits left.
- Add the baking powder and warm milk and mix until smooth and slightly thick. Then, pour the mixture into a baking pan large enough to make a thin layer.
- Bake at 180ºC for 8 minutes. When done, remove from oven, allow to cool, and cut rectangles about the size of your egg mold.
- Wondering how to make Oreo cream for Easter eggs? Well, for the Oreo cream, mix the cookie filling with the cream cheese and the thick cream or whipping cream.
- Then add 2 chopped cookies and mix. Pass this Oreo cream to a pastry bag and reserve.
- Now it’s time to make the chocolate egg.
- Simply melt the chocolate, either in a water bath or in the microwave in 10-second batches, then pour it into the mold, remove the excess, and store it in the freezer for a few minutes.
- Repeat the process at least twice.
- Tip: the number of eggs will depend on the size of your mold.
- We have used 10×15 cm molds and 3 eggs have come out, although if you can’t find the molds you can always use balloons or some other type of circular mold.
- All that remains is to assemble the Oreo-filled Easter egg. To do this, unmold the chocolate egg, place a layer of Oreo cream, a piece of cupcake and repeat the layers until the egg is filled.
- Add some more Oreo cream and some crushed or halved Oreo cookies. You can also add a little melted chocolate to taste. Ready! You already have your Oreo-filled Easter eggs ready to serve.
