Orange and Carrot Salad Recipe

Ingredients to make Orange and Carrot Salad:

  • 1 unit of Carrot
  • 1 unit of Valencia orange
  • 150 grams of Lettuce
  • 100 grams of purple onion
  • 1 lemon unit
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper

How to make Orange and Carrot Salad:

Before making this healthy salad, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready. Cut the carrot into thin slices with the help of a potato peeler and remove the segments from half and orange.

In a bowl, mix the chopped lettuce, the carrot, the orange segments and the onion cut into feathers.

For the vinaigrette, mix the olive oil, the juice of half an orange, the lemon juice, the honey, salt, pepper and the sesame seeds. Add the vinaigrette to the salad and mix very well.

Finally, serve the orange and carrot salad, it is perfect to consume with a grilled beef tenderloin, grilled salmon or smoked tofu.
