Octopus Salad Recipe

In this recipe we are going to make a very healthy option for octopus lovers. Taking into account the summer times, in which we want to consume recipes that do not contain many calories and are very healthy and refreshing, we are going to prepare a delicious fresh salad. We are going to see the step by step that we show you to prepare this simple octopus salad.

Ingredients to make Octopus Salad:

  • 1 bunch of spinach
  • 1 unit of Avocado
  • 3 units of Tomatoes
  • 1 can of sweet corn
  • 1 unit of white onion
  • 500 grams of cooked octopus
  • 3 teaspoons of coconut milk
  • 1 teaspoon basil sauce
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons of olive oil

How to make Octopus Salad:

The first step to make the octopus salad recipe is to pre-list the ingredients. Let’s first disinfect the spinach. To do this, we take the spinach leaves to a bowl.

Cover the spinach with enough water and add the juice of a lemon or a little white vinegar.  Let the vegetable soak for about 10 minutes and remove the water, let the spinach drain in a colander.

In a bowl add the spinach leaves once drained, the white onion in feathers and the tomato in strips.

We take a pan over medium heat and add a teaspoon of olive oil, add the octopus with a little salt and pepper to taste. Let the octopus fry until crispy. Remember that you must cook the octopus first.

While the octopus is cooking, add the sweet corn and mix well with the rest of the ingredients.

Serve the cold salad adding pieces of octopus well distributed in each of the dishes, and to give a final touch add a little basil sauce as a dressing for our salad.
