  • 1 package of seasoned canned seafood in oil (octopus, shrimp, etc.)
  • 1 unit of Purple Onion, if not White
  • 2 units of Tomatoes
  • 1 unit of Cucumber
  • 3 units of Lemons
  • 1 teaspoon of Salt and Pepper

How to make Octopus and Shrimp Ceviche:

1.For this seafood ceviche, the first step is to get all the ingredients ready. Use the seafood that you like the most and do not forget to include the main ones, which are octopus and shrimp.

2.Squeeze the lemons and reserve the juice in a spacious container. If you want you can pass the liquid through a strainer to prevent seeds from slipping.

3.Cut the onion to the size you like best. Then mix with the lemon juice in the same large container. For the ceviche I recommend you cut the onion very finely.

4.Then add the shellfish to the bowl.

5.Separately, chop the tomatoes and cucumber into small squares and add it to the same previous container.

6.Let sit in the fridge for the citrus to marinate the seafood, at least 15 minutes. Check the seasoning and correct with a little salt and pepper.

7.Serve the octopus and shrimp ceviche and decorate with lemon slices. This dish can be served with soda crackers, casaba or other neutral bread. And if you like the citrus touch of ceviche, you can try the vegan banana ceviche
