  • 400 grams of cooked octopus
  • 150 grams of white onion
  • 1 unit of long onion
  • 1 unit of bell pepper or red paprika
  • 4 units of red tomatoes
  • 4 units of Potatoes
  • 1 pinch of garlic paste
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh parsley

How to make Octopus and Potato Stew:

The first step to make our stewed octopus recipe is to pre-list the ingredients.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium squares, take them to a deep pot with enough water to cover them and cook until they are soft, remove and reserve them.

Take a pot over medium heat and add a little sunflower oil, add the white onion and the long onion cut very fine. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

Once you notice that our onion takes on a transparent tone, add the tomato and the red pepper or paprika in squares.

Add the cooked and chopped octopus once our vegetables are sautéed.

Cover the octopus with enough water and add fresh parsley on top, add the cooked potatoes to our preparation and let it cook over low heat for 10 more minutes before serving. Add a little paprika powder on top of our preparation to give color and more flavor to our recipe.
