Ingredients to make Oatmeal Meatballs:

  • 2 cups of oat flakes
  • 2 cups of vegetable broth
  • 1 pinch of cumin powder
  • 1 pinch of cumin grain
  • 1 pinch of Parsley
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 pieces of peppercorns
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 bottle of oil for frying

How to make Oatmeal Meatballs:

  1. To start preparing the oatmeal balls, take a container and place the oatmeal in it, a pinch of salt, and the cumin in both shapes and the chopped parsley.
  2. We mix the previous ingredients well and reserve a moment. Put the vegetable broth in a saucepan and heat it until it boils. Meanwhile, we take the opportunity to finely chop the garlic cloves and add them to the oat mixture.
  3. When the broth reaches the boiling point, remove it from the heat and add it little by little to the oats, mixing constantly until you get a paste. It is not mandatory to add all the broth, so it is necessary to add it little by little and see the amount we need.
  4. When we have obtained a moist paste, correct the taste with salt and add the flour. You can use plain flour, whole wheat flour, or oat flour.
  5. Take a frying pan and heat oil to fry the meatballs. When it is hot, we make balls with the dough of the desired size, pass them through flour and fry the oatmeal balls until golden.
  6. When they are ready, we place them on absorbent paper to remove the excess oil and that’s it!
