  1. 1 liter of almond milk
  2. 150 grams of oat flakes
  3. 2 tablespoons peanut butter
  4. 40 milliliters of honey
  5. 60 grams of amaranth seeds

How to make oatmeal, honey and amaranth smoothie:

  • The first step to make our nutritious and natural juice recipe is to prepare the ingredients.
  • Bring a frying pan over medium heat and toast the amaranth seeds until they turn a dark brown color, once they are toasted, reserve them to use later in the recipe. We must bear in mind that amaranth seeds contain several properties of plant origin such as calcium, which helps prevent osteoporosis.
  • Take the oat flakes and almond milk to a bowl, process these two ingredients until they are well integrated.
  • To give an additional touch to our smoothie add the peanut butter. If you don’t have peanut butter you can add almond butter, this will give a special touch.
  • Finally add the amaranth seeds and honey, which will serve to sweeten our smoothie.
  • Serve the amaranth and honey smoothie with plenty of ice to refresh. This healthy juice is ideal to drink in the morning or if you want at snack time, we can include our children in this recipe as it is delicious.
