Oat Bars Recipe

Ingredients to make Oat Bars:

  • 300 grams of oat flakes
  • 190 grams of unsalted butter
  • 190 grams of refined sugar
  • 2 dessert spoons of syrup

How to make Oat Bars:

  1. The first step for this recipe is to get all the ingredients ready.
  2. The syrup is made with sugar and water, in equal amounts, over heat until thick and golden in color.
  3. Put in a saucepan over medium heat and mix the butter with the sugar and syrup until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  4. Get off the heat and add the oats to the preparation.
  5. Stir everything with a wooden spoon until it has been completely impregnated with the butter.
  6. Place the preparation in a buttered mold and flatten with a wet spoon. Bake at 150º C. until golden brown and even in color.
  7. When coming out of the oven, cut the preparation with a wet knife and let it cool to unmold.
