Ingredients to make Oat Bars:
- 300 grams of oat flakes
- 190 grams of unsalted butter
- 190 grams of refined sugar
- 2 dessert spoons of syrup
How to make Oat Bars:
- The first step for this recipe is to get all the ingredients ready.
- The syrup is made with sugar and water, in equal amounts, over heat until thick and golden in color.
- Put in a saucepan over medium heat and mix the butter with the sugar and syrup until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- Get off the heat and add the oats to the preparation.
- Stir everything with a wooden spoon until it has been completely impregnated with the butter.
- Place the preparation in a buttered mold and flatten with a wet spoon. Bake at 150º C. until golden brown and even in color.
- When coming out of the oven, cut the preparation with a wet knife and let it cool to unmold.
