Nopal Soup with Egg Recipe

  • 500 grams of tomato
  • 10 pieces of Nopales
  • 2 pieces of pasilla chilies
  • 6 cups of chicken broth or water
  • 6 units of Egg
  • 1 branch of Epazote
  • 1 teaspoon of oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Carbonate
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 piece of onion

How to make Nopal Soup with Egg:

  • We put together all the ingredients to prepare our nopales soup.
  • We remove the tail and the seeds from the pasilla chilies and roast them a little. We roast the tomatoes too. And later we grind them together with a clove of garlic and a piece of onion.
  • We slice the nopales into thin strips and boil them with a little carbonate, a clove of garlic and a piece of onion. Once boiled, strain them and let them drain.
