- 15 fresh mint leaves
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1 handful of crushed ice
- 1 glass of Soda
How to make Mojito without alcohol:
- The non-alcoholic mojito is a refreshing drink ideal for hot days. The first step to prepare this famous cocktail will be to wash and chop the lime. Cut into 6 parts and reserve one or two thin slices to decorate.
- To make the non-alcoholic mojito, use a not very tall glass with a wide mouth, a whiskey-type glass. Add in it the pieces of lime, the brown sugar and crush with the help of a mortar. Beat against the bottom of the glass until the lime pieces are completely crushed, mixing with the sugar.
- Next, wash the mint leaves, pat them lightly and add to the glass. You can use mint or spearmint and remember that the standard measure for sugar is a tablespoon but you can add more or less depending on how sweet you like your drink.
- Use the mortar again, but this time crush the mint leaves very gently, do not crush them too much because they can make the taste of the mojito bitter.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice and press with your hand so that it is very compact. If you don’t have crushed ice, you can add a touch to the normal ice in the blender or hit with the mortar until it is broken.
- Finally, add soda to the top of the glass and mix with a long spoon in an enveloping way. Make sure that the pieces of lime and the mint leaves are mixed well, they should be distributed throughout the glass. You can use any type of soda or soda.
- Garnish with the previously cut lemon slices and enjoy on a hot summer day. This non-alcoholic cocktail is very popular in India where it is called Nimbu Pani.
