How to make Nicaraguan Bean Soup:
- The first step to make the Nicaraguan soup recipe is to pre-list the ingredients. It is important that you save the broth from the cooking of the beans.
- Take a deep pot over medium heat, add a teaspoon of sunflower oil and, once hot, add the white onion, long onion and tomato. Remember that everything must be finely chopped. Make a base sauce with these ingredients.
- Add salt, black pepper to taste and garlic paste.
- Add the red pepper or paprika and fry all these ingredients well, this will be the base of our bean soup.
- Once you see that the sauce is ready, add the cooked black beans and the broth where these vegetables were cooked. Let cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes so that all the ingredients are integrated.
- Add salt, pepper and, if you wish, a little cumin to give an extra touch to the preparation.
