Mushrooms in Vinaigrette Recipe

Ingredients to make Mushrooms in Vinaigrette:

For 6 people

  • 1 can of button mushrooms
  • 2 and 1/2 teaspoons chopped basil
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 white onion chopped
  • 2 bay leaf
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of water
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • 1 sprig of thyme

How to make Mushrooms in Vinaigrette:

In a pan, heat the oil, saute the garlic and onion. Add the basil, saute for a while and then add the wine, bay leaves, water, pepper, salt, thyme, lemon juice, cayenne and oregano. Let it boil for a while on medium heat. Season with salt and pepper. Add mushrooms and cook for 8 minutes over medium heat. Disassemble and let cool. Serve with toasted french bread with salt, pepper and olive oil.
