  • 1 clove garlic

  • 1 splash of oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 dessert spoon of flour

How to make Mushroom Soup:

  • Peel and chop the onion and garlic into very small pieces. These ingredients provide an extra flavor to the mushroom soup and enhance its depurative properties, but if you prefer not to notice its texture, you can crush them
  • Heat a saucepan with a splash of oil and add the onion and garlic to poach them.
  • Cut the mushrooms into small pieces and add them to the pot. Stir and let these ingredients cook until the mushrooms take on a little color.
  • Tip: Leave some larger pieces to notice them in the soup.
  • When everything is poached, pour the broth. You can use vegetable broth to prepare vegan mushroom soup or make chicken mushroom soup by adding chicken broth. And if you don’t have broth right now, you can also add water and a consommé tablet. In either case, let the soup cook for 15-20 minutes over medium-low heat.
  • To make the broth more consistent, take a bowl, add a little of the broth, the teaspoon of flour and a few mushrooms and grind.
  • Throw all this into the soup pot and add salt and pepper to taste. Let it boil, try and if you see that it is to your liking, turn off the heat.
  • Serve the mushroom soup with a little parsley sprinkled on top. In this way it is perfect for dinner because it is light and healthy, as well as nutritious. However, it can also be accompanied with a little bread, preferably homemade whole meal bread
