Monkfish with bacon recipe

Ingredients to make Monkfish with bacon:

  • 1 monkfish of 1 kg
  • 12 slices of bacon without fat (fat)
  • 6 tomatoes
  • zest of 1 lemon (lemon zest)
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon of chopped parsley
  • 5 tablespoons of oil

How to make Monkfish with bacon:

  1. Season the monkfish with salt and pepper, and let it taste for a few minutes.
  2. Then wrap the monkfish in the bacon slices and place in the baking dish.
  3. Cut the tomato into thick pieces and arrange them around the monkfish.
  4. Also add the minced garlic, the lemon zest and the minced parsley.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with oil.
  6. Bake in the oven at 180ºC for 35 minutes.
  7. It is preferred that you can add sliced ​​​​potatoes and let them roast together with the monkfish.
