Ingredients to make Monkfish in the oven with almonds:
- 400 grams of Monkfish
- 1 unit of tomato
- 30 grams of Almonds
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 handful of fresh parsley
- 1 slice of bread
- 1 splash of olive oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 jet of water
How to make Monkfish in the oven with almonds:
- We gathered all the ingredients to make this baked monkfish with almonds.
- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a frying pan and fry the garlic with the almonds until golden. We booked.
- We put a little more oil in the pan and fry the bread on both sides. We reserve it with the garlic and almonds.
- In that same pan we sauté the peeled and chopped tomato in small squares. If you have bought the whole monkfish, you can take advantage of the head to make a monkfish soup.
- We beat the tomato with the garlic, the almonds and the bread. Add a splash of water and blend until you have a lump free almond sauce. Meanwhile, we preheat the oven to 200ºC and season the monkfish.
- Tip: If you want the sauce to be very fine, you can pass it through a strainer.
- Cover the monkfish with the almond sauce and place in the oven at 190ºC for 20 minutes
