Minced meat recipe with vegetables

Ingredients to make minced meat with vegetables:

  • 2 pounds of beef
  • 4 units of potatoes
  • 3 units of Carrot
  • ½ pound of green beans
  • 1 unit of Miltomate or Green Tomatillo
  • 2 units of tomato
  • ½ onion unit
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 pinch of Thyme
  • 1 pinch of cumin
  • ⅓ cup of Wine
  • 3 tablespoons of Oil
  • 3 envelopes of Seasoning with cilantro and achiote
  • 2 teaspoons of powdered beef bouillon
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make minced meat with vegetables:

  1. To make this minced meat with vegetables, the first thing you should do is get all the ingredients ready. Once you have everything at hand, start by washing, peeling and finely chopping all the vegetables.
  2. Next, cook the potatoes, carrots and green beans in boiling water on one side and the meat seasoned with the consommé on the other. Once the vegetables and meat are tender, reserve. Let the meat cool and chop or shred finely.
  3. While the meat is minced, fry the onion, tomato, miltomate and garlic. Once the tomato and miltomate are almost undone, add the meat to the pan along with the vegetables, the seasoning, the wine, the consommé and the rest of the spices (salt, bay leaf, thyme and cumin).
  4. Stir the sauce constantly while you see how the meat is painted red by the achiote. Continue cooking for 10 minutes, check and correct the seasoning if necessary and that’s it.
  5. Serve the minced meat with vegetables with a little white rice and a few slices of plantain to tone the flavors! You can also make this minced meat with ground beef.
