  • 30 grams of starch (cornstarch)
  • 100 grams of sugar (½ cup)
  • 100 grams of icing sugar
  • 1 dessert spoon of vanilla aroma

How to make Millefeuille of cream and cream:

  1. To prepare the millefeuille of cream and pastry cream you must start by preparing the puff pastry.
  2. Buy a sheet of square puff pastry and add it to the oven plate, taking advantage of the sheet of paper it contains.
  3.  Cut the puff pastry sheet into 6 rectangles and prick the dough well with a fork so that it does not rise too much.
  4.  You must have the oven preheated to 180 ºC with heat up and down, when it is hot add the puff pastry for about 15 minutes or until the dough is golden. Remove and let cool.
  5. Now you must prepare the cream. In a saucepan you must add the milk, the yolks, the sugar, the vanilla and the cornmeal (cornstarch). Mix it all well until there are no lumps, put it on the fire.
  6. Tip: the temperature of the fire should not be very high.
  7. Stir while heating until a thick cream begins to form, be careful not to stick. When it starts to boil, leave the pot for a few seconds and remove it from the heat.
  8.  Let it cool, cover it with plastic wrap and add it to the fridge.
  9. Whip the cream with a mixer.
  10.  Pour 2 tablespoons of sugar and assemble it, when it is ready, store it in the fridge.
  11. When the puff pastries are golden, remove them and let them cool. With the 6 pieces prepare 2 individual millefeuille.
  12. To assemble the puff pastries, everything must be very cold. Place a sheet of puff pastry on a plate or tray and add the cream with a pastry bag or spoon.
  13. Place a sheet of puff pastry on top without pressing too muchso that the cream does not go down. On top of it, place the cream and on top another sheet of puff pastry.
  14. Sprinkle with icing sugar and you’re done. You can decorate the pastry of cream and cream with fruits. To eat!
