Mexican Ranch Beans Recipe

Ingredients to make Mexican Ranchero Beans:

  • 400 grams of Beans
  • 2 units of Carrots
  • 250 grams of sausages
  • 250 grams of Tomatoes
  • 1 bunch of coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin

How to make Mexican Ranch Beans:

1.The day before we soak the beans overnight. The next day, we will gather all the ingredients. Then we wash our hands very well. Then, we wash the tomatoes and carrots. We wash and disinfect the cilantro. Then we proceed to chop the sausage, tomato and carrot. We slice the cilantro finely.

Trick: To make cooking the beans easier, add a teaspoon of baking soda to the soaking.

2.Cook the beans in a pot over high heat, approximately 20-30 minutes. And add the carrot.

3.After about 10 minutes we incorporate the sausage, salt and ground cumin.

4.Let them continue to cook for another 10 minutes and add the chopped tomatoes. We continue cooking them for another 10 minutes approximately; remember to season the tomatoes. We try salt, if necessary we add more.

5.When serving the ranchero beans, we put the cilantro, and accompany with some crispy tortilla chips.
