  • 4 pieces of medium Nepal
  • 1 red tomato
  • ½ onion
  • 1 branch of fresh coriander
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 garlic clove

How to make Mexican No pales Salad:

The nodal is one of the vegetables with the most medicinal properties there is, it is a great source of fiber, calcium, antioxidants, minerals and vitamins. In Mexico it is a classic food although outside its borders it is not well known. We start by slicing the no pales into small rectangles as we see them in the image.

We take the no pales and add them together with a piece of onion and a clove of garlic in a saucepan with boiling water to start cooking and leave them for around 15 minutes, stirring constantly. We also add a little salt to the water.

Meanwhile, we chop the onion, the red tomato and the fresh coriander, and reserve them for a moment until the no pales are ready.

Once the no pales are cooked, we add them to a colander to drain the water with which they were cooked. Let them cool down a bit.
