- To start the recipe, we cook the lasagna sheets.
- We add onion, a little salt, pepper and a little oil so that the pasta does not stick and, in addition, it has more flavor.
- When it is ready, we drain the water and reserve for a moment.
- Meanwhile, to make the filling for the Mexican lasagna,we slice the following ingredients: the chicken into fajitas, the potato into half-moons, the chopped Cuaresmeño chile, the sliced onion and the pumpkin into half-moons.
- We start by frying the onion. Although it may seem that chicken lasagna has many ingredients and we want to do without some, the truth is that they are all necessary to maintain its flavor and prepare the traditional Mexican-style lasagna.
- Once the onion is ready, add the chicken in fajitasand season with salt and pepper. We will know that the onion is ready because it will have adopted a transparent color.
