Mexican Bean Salad Recipe

This delicious Mexican salad is well known for its fresh and representative flavors, it is also a very healthy and different option to consume vegetables and grains in the same preparation, in this recipe for Mexican salad with beans we present an easy way to prepare a delicious salad with inexpensive ingredients and very easy to use.

Ingredients to make Mexican Bean Salad:

  • 1 can of ready beans
  • 1 can of sweet corn
  • 3 units of Tomatoes
  • 2 units of purple onion
  • 1 lemon unit
  • 1 sprig of Coriander
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper

How to make Mexican Bean Salad:

The first thing you should do is get all the ingredients ready. Cut the tomato into squares without the seeds and mix with the canned beans, previously drained, and the sweet corn kernels.

Now you must cut the purple onion into very fine squares and add a cup of boiling water over it, this in order to remove the acidity of the onion and not make it so spicy, let it rest with the water for 10 minutes.

After 10 minutes, drain the onion and mix with the rest of the Mexican salad. At this point you must rectify the flavor with the lemon juice, salt and pepper. To finish, chop the cilantro and add it to the Mexican salad. Serve
