  • 1 package of curly lettuce or escarole
  • 2 cans of natural prickly pear
  • 1 can of black olives
  • ½ Cucumber
  • ½ onion

Optional vinaigrette

  • 1 splash of Vinegar
  • 1 jet of olive oil
  • 1 sprig of Parsley
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper

How to make Mediterranean Tuna Salad:

Locate a large salad bowl to add all the ingredients as we prepare them. Then we will start by chopping the onion, which must be cut into very fine julienne strips. You can use classic onion or red onion to add a slightly spicy touch to this rich green salad.

Next, we go with the cucumber that we will cut into thin slices. Cucumber can be left with or without peel, this is to taste.

Cucumber is a food that provides multiple benefits to skin care thanks to its high content of vitamin C and vitamin E. Be sure to always include it in your diet.

We will also cut the tomato into slices. For this Mediterranean salad you can use the classic tomato for salads or the delicious cherry tomatoes, do not hesitate to choose the variety that you like the most to give the dish a personal touch.

Now we prepare the vinaigrette. In this case we have opted for a simple salad dressing, mixing oil, vinegar, salt and pepper.

Now we add this vinaigrette in the bowl together with the olives, previously drained the tuna and a little finely chopped parsley. Stir everything well so that the flavors are distributed and the vinaigrette bathes the entire salad. You can also add a little green olive and you decide the variety.

To serve, place a green base of lettuce and escarole on each plate and place a good portion of the mixture that we have in the bowl on top. Enjoy this delicious Mediterranean tuna salad and present it as the first course of a cuttlefish idea with vegetables or mixed paella with rabbit and seafood to complete a 100% Mediterranean evening.
