Ingredients to make Meatballs in Neapolitan sauce:
- – 500 grams of ground beef loin ball).
- – 2 branches of long or green onion.
- – 100 grams of wheat flour.
- – 2 medium red tomatoes (that are ripe)
- – 1 clove garlic.
- – 1 medium white stubborn onion.
- – 150 ml of tomato puree.
- – 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil.
How to make Meatballs in Neapolitan sauce:
- Prepare all the ingredients.
- On a board, chop the tomato and the white cabezona onion into small squares.
- In a deep pot, heat it over medium heat, add the two tablespoons of sunflower oil.- Once hot, add the white big-headed onion, tomato and finely chopped garlic.- Add salt and black pepper.
- Once the mixture from step 3 has been sautéed, add two or three cups of water and the tomato puree with a pinch of sugar (since tomatoes are a bit acidic, what the sugar will do is that our preparation does not remain so acid)
- Apart in a cup or bolw put the meat, with the long or green onion finely chopped, salt and black pepper. – Mix. – Add the wheat flour (what this will do is make the meat stick together and we can make the balls of the meatballs). – Add salt and pepper to taste.
- This is the result we should have after adding the wheat flour and everything else in step 5.
- Form medium balls.
- Add the meatballs in the Neapolitan sauce that we had previously made. – Let cook for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. – Serve.
