Meat and Vegetable Broth Recipe

Ingredients to make Beef and Vegetable Broth:

  • 300 grams of Chickpeas

  • ¼ unit of chopped chicken
  • 30 grams of Iberian Bacon

  • 300 grams of lean pork

  • 2 units of Potato
  • 1 turnip unit
  • 1 unit of Parsnip
  • 1 branch of Celery
  • ½ unit of Cabbage
  • 200 grams of Pumpkin
  • 200 grams of green beans (optional)

How to make Beef and Vegetable Broth:

  • To make this powerful meat broth, the first thing is to prepare the ingredients. To do this, soak the chickpeas the day before preparation. Clean and chop all the meats and do the same with the vegetables.
  • Heat the chickpeas over medium-low heat along with all the meats in a large pot with enough water. You will see how a foam begins to form, remove it with the help of a strainer until it comes out white.
  • Add the carrot, turnip, parsnip, leek and celery, turn the heat up to medium and let it simmer for about an hour.
  • After 60 minutes, add the pumpkin, beans, cabbage and potatoes to the preparation and let everything cook for about 40 more minutes. At this time you can check the seasoning and correct with a little salt or seasoning if you consider it necessary.
