- 200 milliliters of milk
- 350 grams of minced meat

- Sliced cheese
- Chopped Serrano Ham
- Grated cheese
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Nutmeg
- 1/2 onion
How to make mashed potato timbale:
To make the puree: cook the potatoes and mash with a fork. In a pan with a splash of oil, put the mashed potatoes together with the milk, a little pepper, nutmeg and salt and stir everything (if you like the puree looser add a little water from cooking the potatoes or a little more milk, this to taste).
For the mashed potato timbale filling : in a frying pan, fry the half onion julienned and when it is poached, add the meat and fry well, set aside and reserve. Lightly fry the bacon, set aside and set aside. We begin to mount: with a metal ring we put a base of mashed potatoes with a few pinches of Serrano ham and another little bit of mashed on top. Put a layer of meat on top. And then we cover with sliced cheese and bacon.
We finish by covering the timbale with a generous layer of mashed potatoes. Carefully remove the metal ring and cover with grated cheese. We put the mashed potato timbale in the oven or in the microwave so that it melts and gratins the cheese and ready to eat. Serve the freshly made gratin mashed potato timbale.
