Mango and Lettuce Salad Recipe

The secret touch of this mango and lettuce salad that I share is the special dressing made with sesame and wasabi. This fresh salad provides a large amount of Vitamin C, antioxidant agents and Vitamin A, thanks to the properties of the mango; In addition, it is an exquisite, original and colorful dish with which you will surely surprise everyone.

Ingredients to make Mango and Lettuce Salad:

  • 200 grams of green Mecum
  • 1 unit of Handle

Dressing:

  • 1 unit of Tomato
  • 1 teaspoon white sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon cranberry or apple cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon wasabi paste
  • 1 teaspoon mustard with seeds
  • 4 tablespoons of seed oil
  • 1 pinch of salt

How to make Mango Lettuce Salad:

To make the mango and lettuce salad, you must first prepare all the ingredients. Make sure that lettuce predominates in the mecum; you can combine with grated carrot, escarole and red cabbage.

Peel the mango, discarding the bone and cutting the pulp into small squares, as similar as possible. Mix with the lettuce and reserve.

To make the sesame dressing, place all the ingredients (except the oil and salt) in a mixer or blender and blend until you get a smooth paste.

Finally, mix this paste with the oil and give it a touch of salt. Check the taste and add more salt or more wasabi if necessary.

Serve the mango and lettuce salad and cover with the sauce and decorate with a few toasted sesame seeds.
