Ingredients to make Mamposteao rice with bacon and ham:
- For 2 persons:
- 2 cups of cooked white rice
- 1 1/2 cups stewed pink beans
- 1/2 cup of minced cooking ham
- 1/2 cup chopped cooked bacon
- 1/8 cup finely chopped onion
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 crushed garlic clove
How to make mamposteao rice with bacon and ham:
- In a pan add the olive oil and when it is hot add the garlic, onion, bacon, and ham, cook and brown everything well.
- If this yielded a lot of liquid, remove a little.
- Add the rice and beans and stir until everything is well mixed and the rice has absorbed all the liquids and that’s it.
- To serve: Use a deep bowl and fill with the rice, then turn over and the shape of the bowl will remain, garnish with fresh coriander.
