Mamposteao rice recipe with bacon and ham

Ingredients to make Mamposteao rice with bacon and ham:

  • For 2 persons:
  • 2 cups of cooked white rice
  • 1 1/2 cups stewed pink beans
  • 1/2 cup of minced cooking ham
  • 1/2 cup chopped cooked bacon
  • 1/8 cup finely chopped onion
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 crushed garlic clove

How to make mamposteao rice with bacon and ham:

  1. In a pan add the olive oil and when it is hot add the garlic, onion, bacon, and ham, cook and brown everything well.
  2. If this yielded a lot of liquid, remove a little.
  3. Add the rice and beans and stir until everything is well mixed and the rice has absorbed all the liquids and that’s it.
  4. To serve: Use a deep bowl and fill with the rice, then turn over and the shape of the bowl will remain, garnish with fresh coriander.
