Mallorcan toast recipe

Delicious recipe of Spanish origin, easy and quick to make. We will use a typical and representative ingredient of the Balearic Islands such as sobrassada, which we will season with oregano and complement with tomato, resulting in an exceptional bite.

Ingredients to make Majorcan toast:

  • 4 slices of bread slices
  • 1 package of Sobrassada from Mallorca
  • 1 unit of chopped tomato
  • 1 pinch of oregano
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of pepper
  • 1 splash of extra virgin olive oil

How to make Mallorcan Toast:

1.The first step will be to get all the ingredients ready. Have on hand the bread, the sobrassada, a diced tomato, oregano, salt and pepper and olive oil to taste for this simple and rich dish.

2.We cut the slices of bread. It is advisable not to cut them too thick, as they will be generously covered.

3.Toast the slices in a pan or in a toaster.

4.We spread the bases with Mallorcan sobrassada.

5.Add the chopped tomato.

6..Add a splash of olive oil, a pinch of salt, pepper and oregano to taste.

7.And now comes the best, we serve and enjoy the delicious Mallorcan toast. This dish is ideal to serve as a canapé or tapa and you can combine it perfectly with some surimi toasts and other avocado toasts.
