Mallorcan style fish recipe

Ingredients to make Mallorcan style fish:

  • 400 gr. grouper fillets, also serves hake or other white fish
  • At 100 gr. chard
  • 100 gr. coarsely chopped parsley
  • 50 gr. of leeks
  • 50 gr. chives (fried)
  • 200 gr. potatoes cut into slices and cooked
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 25 gr. unsalted toasted almonds
  • 2 cloves of garlic (15 gr.)
  • 100 ml. of olive oil
  • 100 ml. of water or fish brother, you can also use dry white wine

How to make Mallorcan style fish:

  1. Put the oil in a frying pan, when it is hot add the leeks and spring onions cut into thick julienne strips with the tender green part. Anchor them.
  2. When they are soft add the tomato cut into small pieces.
  3. Then add the chard and parsley, minus a tablespoon that will be saved to make the mince, cut into thick julienne strips and cook over low heat.
  4. With the almonds, the garlic and the tablespoon of parsley make a bite. When the vegetables are cooked add the picada.
  5. In a baking dish, place the sliced ​​​​and cooked potatoes, on top, place the fish fillets and on top of it place the vegetables.
  6. Put in a preheated oven at 175º C. For 20 minutes. Serve at the same source. Note you can replace the water with dry white wine.
