Ingredients to make Macaroni with béchamel:
for 4 people
- 350g macaroni
- 80g grated cheese
- 60g butter
- 1/2 liter of béchamel sauce
- salted
- bread crumbs
Béchamel sauce:
- 1/2 liter of milk
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 30g butter
- salted
How to make Macaroni with béchamel:
- Cook the macaroni in a saucepan with boiling water, salt and a tablespoon of butter, while we preheat the oven to gratin.
- Once they are cooked, refresh them with a stream of cold water, draining them well and reserving them greased with a little oil so that they do not stick together.
- Prepare the béchamel and add half of the grated cheese.
- In a refractory dish we spread a little butter, putting on it a layer of macaroni and another of béchamel sauce, alternating like this until the macaroni is finished, ending up covering them with grated cheese and butter.
- We put in the oven to gratin so that it is toasted on top.
