Macaroni with Béchamel Recipe

Ingredients to make Macaroni with béchamel:

for 4 people

  1. 350g macaroni
  2. 80g grated cheese
  3. 60g butter
  4. 1/2 liter of béchamel sauce
  5. salted

Béchamel sauce:

  1. 1/2 liter of milk
  2. 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  3. 30g butter
  4. salted

How to make Macaroni with béchamel:

  • Cook the macaroni in a saucepan with boiling water, salt and a tablespoon of butter, while we preheat the oven to gratin.
  • Once they are cooked, refresh them with a stream of cold water, draining them well and reserving them greased with a little oil so that they do not stick together.
  • Prepare the béchamel and add half of the grated cheese.
  • In a refractory dish we spread a little butter, putting on it a layer of macaroni and another of béchamel sauce, alternating like this until the macaroni is finished, ending up covering them with grated cheese and butter.
  • We put in the oven to gratin so that it is toasted on top.
