How to make Macaroni with Leftover Meat:

  • To make this fantastic recipe for use, we begin by preparing the ingredient sand by covering the base of a saucepan with olive oil.
  • Finely chop the onion and peppers, previously washed. The meat of the puchero or stew is also cut into small pieces.
  • Once all this is done, we heat the oil and add the ingredients to the saucepan to make a base sauce. Season with salt and pepper and add oregano and thyme to taste, as well as 3 pieces of butter.
  • We keep cooking the sauce for 15 minutes over low heat.
  • Remember that to make these macaroni with leftover meat you can use any type of cooked meat, preferably a good piece that you have left over from an Argentine stew, for example.
  • To make the macaroni, we put a saucepan with water on the highest heat. When it starts to boil, add the macaroni and wait 15 minutes for them to be al dente.
  • If you prefer to make this macaroni and meat recipe using another type of pasta, remember to check the manufacturer’s recommended cooking time.
  • Once the 15 minutes of cooking have passed, we put the macaroni in a strainer and drain the pasta well.
  • Next, we add the macaroni to the pot where we have the sauce and mix everything well. It’s important that the pasta blend into the flavors of the stir-fry, so give it a good stir at this point.
  • Now we add the fried tomato, the special cheese for gratin and arrange the slices of semi-cured cheese in the shape of a star, as seen in the photo.
  • Then, to finish cooking our macaroni and meat dish, we put the lid on the saucepan and put it on a low heat until we see that the cheese has melted with the pasta.
  • As you can see, these macaroni with meat leftoversare a spectacular dish that does not seem like a recipe for use at all, so be sure to prepare it and tell us what you think. To enjoy!
