Who hasn’t ever eaten macaroni with chorizo? Surely this dish reminds us of all of our childhood. Today we give a twist to the original recipe and we prepare it with chorizo dough and gratins in the oven, simple and delicious! Impossible to say no to this recipe!
Ingredients to make Gratin Macaroni with Chorizo:
- 200 grams of macaroni
- 250 grams of Chorizo
- 350 grams of fried tomato
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of sweet paprika
- 100 grams of grated cheese
How to make Macaroni Gratin with Chorizo:
- To make this baked macaroni dish, we’ll start by cooking the pasta. To do this, we put water to boil in a saucepan, add the macaroni and cook until al dente, done but not excessively soft.
- We pour them into a drainer and reserve.
- Meanwhile, we cook the chorizo dough. In a wide frying pan we put said dough and fry it. It is not necessary to add oil; it will be enough with the fat that is released in the heat.
- The chorizo dough is sold in some supermarkets and also in some butcher shops. If you can’t find it, you can buy fresh chorizo, open the casing and remove the dough.
- Tip: If the chorizo mass releases too much fat once fried, drain it and put it back in the pan.
- When the chorizo meat is done, add the macaroni, stir well and add the fried tomato.
- At this point we season with a little pepper and paprika, add salt to our liking and stir well. We keep everything on the fire for a few more minutes.
- Next, we pour the mixture of pasta with chorizo in a suitable dish for the oven, we put grated cheese distributed over the entire surface and we put in the preheated oven at 180 ºCuntil the cheese is melted.
