Macaroni Bolognese Recipe

In this recipe we bring you the traditional Italian Bolognese sauce, as it is originally made and we are going to accompany it with macaroni pasta and grated Parmesan cheese on top. A classic preparation, which surely we have all eaten but some are not very sure how to prepare it in a traditional way as it is done in Italy.

Ingredients to make Macaroni Bolognese:

  1. 500 grams of beef
  2. 2 units of Carrot
  3. 1 unit of white onion
  4. 100 grams of Bacon
  5. 150 grams of Celery
  6. 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  7. 500 milliliters of beef broth
  8. 1 glass of red wine
  9. 500 grams of Macaroni pasta
  10. 1 pinch of salt
  11. 1 pinch of Pepper
  12. 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  13. 200 grams of Parmesan cheese

How to make Macaroni Bolognese:

  • Our first step is to prepare the ingredients for the macaroni Bolognese.
  • Bring a pot to medium heat with a little olive oil. When it is hot, add the bacon (it can be pork or turkey that you want) and let it fry.
  • Once you see that the bacon is golden, add the vegetables cut into medium pieces
  • Add a little salt, pepper, oregano and garlic paste to the stir-fry for the Bolognese.
  • Once you see that the vegetables are well fried, add the meat broth along with the red wine. If the liquid does not cover the vegetables completely, you can add a little more water. Let the sauce keep for about 20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, cook the macaroni in the traditional way. To do this, he takes a pot with enough water over medium heat, once the water is boiling; add the macaroni with a splash of oil so that they do not stick.
  • Take the Bolognese sauce to a bowl or a blender and blend everything very well. Process the sauce and pass through a strainer to sift our preparation.
  • Remove our pasta macaroni when they are al dente or at the desired cooking point and drain.
  • Take our Bolognese sauce to a pot over medium heat, add salt and pepper if you want or if necessary.
  • Take a separate skillet over medium heat with a little sunflower oil; add the ground beef with a little salt, pepper and garlic paste to taste.
  • Once you have fried the meat, add it to the pot where we have the Bolognese sauce. Mix very well and rectify the seasoning if you consider it necessary. You can add any ingredient of your choice.
  • Finally, he serves a hearty plate of macaroni Bolognese, bathing the pasta in the sauce and finishing with a dollop of grated Parmesan cheese.
