Ingredients to make Macarronade:

  1. 1 kilogram of Macaroni or Short Pasta
  2. 1 kilogram of ground beef
  3. 2 ripe plantains or Plantains
  4. 4 boiled eggs
  5. 4 boiled potatoes
  6. 500 grams of leg ham
  7. 500 grams of yellow cheese
  8. 250 grams of Mozzarella
  9. 200 grams of Parmesan cheese
  10. 500 milliliters of milk
  11. 1 clove garlic
  12. 1 onion
  13. 1 pinch of Salt and Pepper
  14. 2 teaspoons of Cornstarch
  15. 2 ripe tomatoes
  16. 1 piece of paprika
  17. 1 branch of Celery
  18. 1 branch of chives

How to make Macaronade:

  • The first step to start making this delicious Macaronade is to cook the pasta. For this recipe you can use any short pasta, feathers or screws, the one you like best. The important thing is that it stays al dente. Booking.
  • With the meat we will make a Bolognese sauce. To do this, cook or fry the ground beef with minced garlic, salt and pepper until done. Separately, blend the tomatoes together with the onion, garlic, paprika, celery and chives until a sauce is achieved. Add this tomato sauce to the meat and cook until the Bolognese remains.
  • To make the béchamel sauce, make a sauce of onion, garlic and coriander. Add half of the milk and when it starts to boil, lower the temperature and add the rest of the milk with the cornstarch dissolved in it. Season with a little salt and pepper to taste.
  • Ready the meat and the béchamel we go to the assembly of the Macarronade. To do this, in an aluminum tray for 2 kilos, we begin to place the base paste, then a layer of meat and another of béchamel.
  • Next, place a layer of sliced ​​potatoes, sliced ​​eggs, sliced ​​ripe plantains, ham, cheese and so we are putting several layers until we finish the ingredients. In the last layer put the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan.
