  • 3 medium lucumas
  • 200 milliliters of evaporated milk
  • ½ cup brown or white sugar

How to make Lucuma ice cream:

  1. To start with the lucuma ice cream recipe, it is first important to peel the lucumasvery carefully and remove the pulp. Place the pulp in a metal container.
  2. Trick:bring the evaporated milk to refrigeration 1 hour before making the homemade ice cream.
  3. In a blender, place the lucuma pulp, the evaporated milk and the brown sugar. In the case of sugar, the amount can be to taste.
  4. If you prefer to make a healthier ice cream, you should add less sugar, and if, on the contrary, you are a big sugar lover and you like sweet desserts, you can add more.
  5. Take the blended mixture to a glass container and reserve in the refrigerator for approximately 3-4 hours.
  6. When you want to consume the ice cream, you can scrape it up with a spoon and serve it. Accompany it with homemade chocolate fudge or golden gooseberry jam.
