Lobster Paella Recipe

Ingredients to make Lobster Paella:

  • 400 grams of Rice
  • 150 grams of squid
  • 1 unit of lobster
  • ½ unit of red pepper
  • ½ unit of green pepper
  • 2 units of tomato
  • 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika
  • 1 pinch of Saffron or Coloring
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 splash of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 liter of Fish broth or Fumet

How to make Lobster Paella:

  1. The first step to prepare this rice with lobster is to prepare the ingredients. To do this, chop the squid and finely chop the vegetables. Keep in mind that you can buy the broth or make it at home with the fish fumet recipe.
  2. Heat the fish broth in a separate pot. In the meantime, add a little oil to a pan and fry the lobster, cut in two, for a few minutes until the shell turns red. Reserve.

  4. Add the squid to the paella pan. Leave them on the fire until they have released the water and it has reduced, then add the vegetables and fry everything over low heat for about 20 minutes.

  7. Let the rice with lobster cook over medium-low heat for the time recommended by the rice manufacturer. Halfway through the process, place the seafood pieces meat side down to release all the flavor.
  8. When the lobster paella is ready, turn off the heat and cover the preparation with a cloth, let it rest for a few minutes and then serve, garnished with lemon slices.
