Ingredients to make Lentil Soup with Pasta:

  • 1/2 kilo of lentils
  • 1 cup of pasta
  • Celery
  • 1 carrot
  • Chive
  • Cilantro
  • Water (enough)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tablespoon cumin
  • Oil

How to make Lentil Soup with Pasta:

  1. We wash the lentils well and put them to parboil in water, enough to cook them. We add salt to taste.
  2. We wash and chop the carrot, celery and add these ingredients to the lentils. We continue cooking, seasoning the preparation with cumin and pepper.
  3. Finally, we add the pasta and, apart, we prepare a sauce with the oil and chives to taste.
  4. When the sauce is done, we add it to our lentil soup with pasta, add the chopped cilantro and let it boil for 10 more minutes and that’s it. Let rest and eat, bon appetite. This recipe for lentil soup with pasta is perfect for any time of the year and it is delicious. It can be accompanied with boiled rice or a green salad.
