Lentil Cream with Bacon Recipe

Ingredients to make Cream of Lentils with bacon:

  • 1 cup(s) lentils
  • 1 tsp. margarine
  • 1 pc. onion
  • 1/2 cup(s) chopped bacon
  • 1 tsp. ground garlic
  • 1 tsp. Tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. unprepared flour
  • 1 liter Water
  • 1 pc. double chicken bouillon cubes
  • 1 squares of fried bread

How to make Lentil Cream with Bacon:

  1. Parboil the lentils in water and when they are cooked, pass them through the blender, forming a puree.
  2. Brown the chopped bacon in the margarine, onion, garlic, salt and pepper, tomato paste, the liter of water, double broth and purée; the flour dissolved in a little cold water, let it boil for 1 minute.
