Lemonade with Flavored Ice

Ingredients to make Lemonade with flavored ice:

  1. 300 grams of Sugar (1½ cups)
  2. 100 grams of Raspberries
  3. 100 grams of Currants
  4. 3 liters of water
  5. 2 tablespoons of Sugar
  6. 8 units of Lemon
  7. 1 handful of fresh mint

How to make Lemonade with flavored ice:

  • First we will make the raspberry ice cubes. To do this, place the raspberries in a bowl and add 1 tablespoon of sugar on top. Let this mixture macerate for an hour and after this time crush everything.
  • Pass the raspberry juice through a strainer and fill an ice tray with the liquid. Reserve in the freezer to solidify.
  • Next we will make mint ice. To do this, remove the fresh mint leaves from the stems and blend with 100 milliliters of water and the other tablespoon of sugar. Also go through the strainer and fill another ice tray with the liquid. Reserve in the freezer.
  • The last flavored ice cubes will be currant, so fill another ice tray with water and place 2 or 3 currants inside each cube. Reserve in the freezer.
  • Trick: You can also make ice from other fruits such as strawberry or orange.
  • To make the lemon concentrate, place the rest of the water with the sugar in a pot and bring to the heat with the zest of half of the lemons. Let it boil and cook over low heat for about 20 minutes.
  • After this time, add the juice of the 8 lemons and continue cooking for another 5 minutes. The juice of 8 lemons and continue cooking for another 5 minutes. Then turn off, remove from heat and let cool at room temperature.
  • When serving the lemonade with flavored ice, mix the concentrate with more water or sparkling water and serve the colored ice in each glass. The ratio should be one third of lemon concentrate to two of water.
