Lemon Fettuccine Recipe

FoodsDiary By FoodsDiary

On this occasion I am sharing some lemon fettuccine with walnuts, also mistakenly known as lemon fettuccine. Dishes made with pasta are always appetizing and have the advantage of being easy to prepare. Due to their flavor and their adaptability they have become a daily food in our daily menu, since they are always well received.

The amount of pasta that we must prepare per diner is around 100 grams, especially if what we are going to present is a single dish, but if the diners are people with a large appetite, we can increase the amount of pasta. Try this lemon pasta and tell me what you think!

Ingredients to make Lemon Fettuccine:

  1. 60 grams of chopped walnuts
  2. 30 grams of unsalted butter
  3. 10 grams of finely cut sage leaves
  4. 1 unit of zest of a lemon
  5. 4 tablespoons of Cream for cooking
  6. 300 grams of Fettuccine
  7. 50 grams of Parmesan cheese in sheets
  8. 15 grams of chopped parsley
  9. 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  10. 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  11. ½ teaspoon of Salt

How to make Lemon Fettuccine:

  • The first step to prepare these lemon fettuccine with walnuts is to preheat the oven to 160ºC. Next, put the walnuts on a tray and toast them in the oven for 15 minutes, remove from the oven and allow them to cool.
  • In a medium skillet, heat the butter over high heat for one minute; add the sage and fry for another two minutes until the butter begins to brown. Add the lemon zest, the cream, and half a teaspoon of salt and plenty of black pepper. Mix and keep on the heat for a few seconds so that the lemon fettuccine sauce thickens a bit. Immediately remove from heat so that the cream does not cut and reserve.
  • In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and add the pasta. Boil for 8 minutes or the time indicated on the package, until al dente.
  • Drain the fettuccine and reserve two tablespoons of the cooking water. Then we put the pasta in a large bowl.
  • Heat the sauce, add the reserved cooking water and pour over the pasta, together with the walnuts, the Parmesan slices (cut with a peeler), the parsley and the lemon juice.
  • Mix everything well and serve the lemon fettuccine
