Lamb Stew Recipe

Ingredients to make Lamb Stew:

  • 1 pinch of parsley
  • 1½ kilograms of Lamb
  • 100 grams of onion
  • 100 grams of Tomato
  • ½ glass of white wine
  • 1 pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 glass of olive oil
  • 100 grams of Carrots
  • 4 units of Potatoes
  • 1 cup of beef broth
  • 100 grams of peas

How to make Lamb Stew:

  1. Cut the lamb into not very large pieces.
  2. Heat half the oil and brown the pieces of lamb.
  3. We discard the oil where we have cooked it and the fat that it has released.
  4. Place the rest of the oil in the same pan and add the chopped onion, sauté and add the peeled and chopped tomatoes.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, bay leaf, garlic and parsley and cook the whole for about 3 or 4 minutes.
  6. After this time we add the wine.
  7. Add the pieces of lamb, the carrots cut into slices and the potatoes, in large pieces.
  8. Add the hot broth and cook over low heat, with the container covered, for 20 minutes.
  9. Lastly, add the peas.
  10. Cook until the lamb is tender.
