Kangaroo Stew Recipe

Ingredients to make Kangaroo Stew:

  • 1 cup of a good red wine
  • 1 teaspoon chopped chives
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1 small onion
  • 500 gr of kangaroo tenderloin
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • ½ cup of cream

How to make Kangaroo Stew:

  1. Combine the wine, chives, garlic and chopped onion in a deep bowl
  2. Add the kangaroo and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  3. Heat the oil in the pan and add the meat.
  4. Roast for 2 minutes over high heat.
  5. If you prefer more cooked, roast for 2 more minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and keep warm.
  7. Add the maceration liquid and the cream to the meat roasting juices, place over low heat and boil for 3 minutes or until the sauce thickens a little.
