- 250 grams of Spaghetti
- 3 spring onions
- 4 garlic cloves
- 2 tablespoons of Butter
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- chopped roasted almond
- Oil
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of Pepper
How to make Japanese Style Spaghetti:
- The first step to make this Japanese-style spaghetti is to bring water to a boil with a little salt and when you start, we boil the spaghetti for about 8-10 minutes. When they are cooked, drain them well and reserve them in the same pot with a drizzle of oil so that they do not stick.
- Next, we cut the chicken thighs into strips or small portions, season them with salt and pepper, add the tablespoons of butter in a non-stick pan and, when it is melted, brown the chicken Frying the chicken with butter instead of oil will make the spaghetti taste delicious like a Japanese soba noodle recipe.
- Once the fried chicken is ready, we reserve it on a plate for later and in the same pan, we fry the previously chopped garlic and the sliced or chopped chives as well, as you like.
- When the vegetables are half poached, we add the fried chicken that we had reserved and stir to integrate all the flavors of our particular chicken yakisoba.
- Now it’s time to add the tablespoons of brown sugar and soy sauce to give this special touch to our Japanese-style spaghetti. We let everything cook together for about 5 minutes until we see that the sugar has dissolved and our yakisoba sauce has thickened.
- Finally, we add the spaghetti and fry it for a while, mixing it well with all the other ingredients of the Japanese-style soba noodles so that the flavors are well integrated.
- ET voilà! We can now serve our Japanese-style spaghetti with a little chopped toasted almond on top. If you have the whole almonds you can chop them with the crusher. Or if you prefer you can use chopped peanuts or another dry fruit that you like. Take advantage!
