  2. 2 onions
  3. 2 carrots
  4. ¼ celery
  5. 1 cup of white wine
  6. 3 cups of Water (720 milliliters)
  7. 400 grams of mixed minced meat (beef/pork)
  8. 2 tablespoons of Oregano
  9. 1 tablespoon Basil
  10. Ground pepper
  11. 1 tablet of Maggi concentrated chicken broth
  12. 2 tablespoons of margarine or butter
  13. Olive oil
  14. 6 tablespoons of Tomato concentrate
  15. Salt
  16. 1 teaspoon of sugar

How to make Italian Macaroni Bolognese:

  • To start making this Italian macaroni Bolognese, first we will wash, peel and dice the onions, carrots and celery with the help of a knife. To save time, we will boil the pasta separately so as not to have to wait for the tenth step later. Once the macaroni is cooked, we pour a jet of oil on them, stir and reserve them for later.
  • Now, we sauté the onionin a pan with oil and two tablespoons of butter for 10 minutes. Next, add the celery and continue cooking for 3 more minutes. At the same time, we prepare the carrots, boiling them in water and salt in a separate saucepan for 10′ until they acquire a soft texture.
  • We will now add the carrot to the Bolognese pasta sauce.
  • Season the meat with salt and pepper while you continue to make the sauce.
  • Now, we add the minced meat to our casserole with the macaroni sauce and cook it until it turns color (approximately 5 minutes).
  • Carefully add 6 tablespoons of concentrated tomato, 1 small teaspoon of salt and sugar to correct the acidity of the tomato and a cube of concentrated chicken broth.
  • We pour 1 cup of white wine and 3 more of water to cover all the Bolognese sauce.
  • Let the Bolognese sauce simmer under an open lid over medium heat until the water is reduced. That is, until it recovers the initial texture (approximately 10 minutes).
  • Add the spices to the Bolognese sauce: 2 tablespoons of oregano.-1 tablespoon of basil.
  • We mix the cooked macaroni with the sauce and we already have our Italian macaroni Bolognese ready to eat. Bon profit!
