Ingredients to make Illustrated Crumbs:

  • Bread 300g
  • Lean pork 300 gm.
  • Red pepper 150 gm.
  • White grapes 200 gm.
  • Garlic 6 cloves
  • Oil
  • Peppers

How to make Illustrated Crumbs:

Cut the bread into small pieces in the form of dice and moisten it by splashing water with your hand, and reserve. Cut the pepper into strips about 1 or 2 cm. and the meat in small pieces. Put oil in a large frying pan, fry the whole garlic cloves adding salt, and set aside, successively fry the pepper and the meat, when they are golden brown, set aside. In the oil used to fry the peppers and the meat, sauté the breadcrumbs, move them with a wooden spoon so they don’t stick. When they begin to take color, add all the fried ingredients and sprinkle the paprika, keep stirring so that it does not burn. It is served in the same pan, with a handful of white grapes. The migas is a peasant dish, it was made for take advantage of the stale bread and it was not moistened directly, but wrapped in a damp cloth.
