How to make Honey Flan with Walnuts:

  1. Order the work table with all the necessary elements for this preparation.
  2. Separate the white from the yolks, pour it into a bowl. Whip the egg whites until Booking.
  3. Use another bowl to mix the yolks, honey and the two types of milk.
  4. Add the shredded fresh cheese to the mixture. Stir very well until the content is homogeneous.
  5. Add the egg whites, whipped to stiff peaks using enveloping movements, and reserve the honey flan.
  6. Trick: Do it carefully and patiently, so it won’t lose fluffiness.
  7. Prepare the liquid caramel with the sugar, the lemon drops and 4 tablespoons of water. Use a saucepan, mold or the flan itself. Heat over medium-high heat. The caramel will be ready when it looks golden. Spread the caramel all over the inside of the container and let it cool to room temperature. Then pour the mixture of the honey cheese into the flanera or container.
  8. Prepare a bain-marie and place the flanera inside. She cooks the flan with honey for an hour and a half. Before reaching the expected time, prick it with a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out clean, the flan is ready, otherwise, continue cooking it until the test passes.
  9. Unmold the honey cheese. When decorating, use sugared walnuts and ground walnuts. You can add a touch of honey to the topping if you want too
  10. This honey flan with walnuts is an elegant, exquisite, fragrant dessert… without a doubt, a protagonist for the Christmas and New Year’s table. Although surely it will leave you very well in any special celebration
