- 250 grams of pure gluten
- 250 milliliters of plain water
- 2 vegetable broth tablets or homemade broth
- 70 milliliters of liquid soy
- 2 liters of water (to boil)
How to make homemade Satan:
- Prepare a large bowl so you can prepare the dough more comfortably. Use the same measure of water as gluten, that is, one bowl of gluten to one of water.
- Make a mixture with the water and the gluten flour. Stir with a wooden spoon until both are integrated and begin to knead. It does not need more than 3 minutes of kneading; you will see that it begins to acquire a sponge-like appearance.
- Cover the dough bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rest for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, bring water to a boil and add the vegetable broth cubes and soy.
- Trick: It will not be necessary to add salt, since the broth tablets and the soy already have them.
- Remove the plastic wrap and grab the dough with your hands. Go squeezing it until it forms a ball, it must have acquired a very chewy, smooth and elastic texture. Put the seaman mass in the boiling water.
- Cover the pot and let the seaman cook for an hour without lowering the heat. At this point, it will take on the flavor of the vegetable broth and soy when it is ready, turn off the heat and let it rest until it cools completely.
